> A project: a do-it-yourself
little gift box <
WHAT YOU
NEED
one thin
cardboard demi-rough of you favourite colour
ribbons,
strings, decorations as you like
one pencil and
one pencil rubber
one ruler or
one triangle
scissors
one cutter
glue for paper
TIME OF
MAKING
about 10
minuts to make the stencil
HOW TO DO
IT
First of all
print the picture that is the model
clicking here (an enarlged picture will be shown and you
must only click on your "Print" button of your browser).
Cut the
outlines and make two holes with the scissors tip where the
black little circles are signed.
Lean this
shape on you cardboard, and sign the outlines with the
pencil, verifying, once you ended, that the sides are
parallel and rows are straight (correct them just in case!)
Cut your
cardboard carefully, and make the holes as before. Here's
your stencil! Use it to produce all your gift boxes, so that
they're all the same.
To fold the
long sides, etch SLIGHTLY the cardboard where they have to
be folded, they'll be more accurate.
Paste the
base, and then the left side inside the right one.
To close the
box, press gently on the sides to create a blurb, and
pass the limpet through the halfcircle of the handle.
To decore it,
have fun! Dried flowers, ribbons, strings (by the way: the
holes are to let the ribbon pass through, you comprehended,
right???), decoupage applications even in the 3D version...
The more you invent the best it will be!
